Sleigh Rides

Hello friends!  I've been wanting to make a sleigh and when I saw the Nutcracker Sweet Collection by Graphic 45, I knew it would be perfect for my design.  I made a pattern and cut the medium weight chipboard with a craft knife.  I cut the Nutcracker Sweet papers and used my craft knife to cut close to the chipboard.
I've added some embossed Chipboard, Tim Holtz labels and Rosette die, Graphic 45 Metal Brads and Graphic 45 packaging on the mini.
Worldwin ColorMates were used on the inside of the sleigh.
Close up's.
Label close up, embossed with WOW! Gold embossing powder.
Also used are Purple and Red Embossing Powder.

If you save the packaging with the acetate, it makes for a great little shaker.  I used tiny Jingle Bells inside the acetate for the cover of my mini.
Cover with the Jingle Bell Shaker
Tim Holtz Gears and 7 gypsies Metal corners.

Embossing close up and Graphic 45 Metal Clothespin.
The rest of the pages.
Really Reasonable Ribbon Seam Binding.
Snowflake die is Spellbinder's and I've cut them out of a white foam sheet and applied glitter.  The scalloped top is an Accucut die.
Metal Corners are 7 Gypsies
The fence die cut is Heartfelt Creations.

I used Graphic 45 cardstock, 1.5” Jute Ribbon Black and the Yellow Satin from the Club Assortment.   Really Reasonable Ribbon and this beautiful stamp designed by Candy Rosenberg.  Isn’t the sentiment a HOOT?  It makes me giggle when I read it.  I’ve used the Jute Ribbon behind the sentiment.  The sentiment and Corset are heat embossed with Black, WOW embossing powder.

How Do You Like Your Easter Eggs?

I like mine all decorated in Soft Spring colors just in time for Easter!  Happy Good Friday, friends! I'd like to share a super simple idea, just in time for Easter.  If you have kids in your life, this is a perfect craft for them as well as you :)
Start with either ceramic eggs that can be purchased at a craft store or make some hard boiled eggs and decorate them.  I have both kinds on hand and decided to use the ceramic eggs so I can use them from year to year.
Gather some of your favorite ribbon, tulle, flowers, lace and  Quick Dry Adhesive.
I like mine all decorated in Soft Spring colors just in time for Easter!
The little pillars can be purchased at a craft store in the cake decorating department.
The ribbons I've used are Swiss Dots Grosgrain Pink and the aqua floral print that's in the March Club Assortment.
These are a perfect way to add some Spring decor to you home.

Quick Quotes Grid Challenge

Hello friends!  Are you up for a fun challenge?  The Challenge for Quick Quotes is to use a grid.  Grid challenge is to use a grid pattern formed by pattern paper blocks or strips on any project, card, layout or altered.
I decided to make a Gate Fold Mini Album and have used a grid on the top corners.  I’ve used the “OH SO” Color Vellum Quotes and cut it into pieces to add the the album.  Cardstock is Summer Samba and One Fine Day.

Doll House Bedroom Set

Hello friends!  Have you seen the new collection, "Little Darlings", by Graphic 45?  As soon as I saw the sneak peeks of this line, I knew it would become a favorite.  I actually drove for 6 hours in snow and ice to get my little hands on this!  I had no idea of the weather forecast when I took off for Archivers in Des Moines, IA...but I have it now and I made sure I bought plenty to last me for awhile.  LOL!
It was well worth the trip and I've made several projects already.  I've used Really Reasonable Ribbon, Beatrice White Crocheted Lace for the trim on the bed.
OH!  Some great news!  Bonnie at Really Reasonable Ribbon is having a 3 Day SALE!  The more you buy, the more you save...woo-hooo!
Night Stand and Frame
See why I'm smitten with this line?  Every single paper in this collection is just gorgeous!

Valentine Banner

Hello friends!  Today I'm sharing a  simple little Valentine Banner using a red and pink theme.    I've used the Double Ruffles White ribbon to hang the diecuts and doilies.   This is available at Really Reasonable Ribbon!   The vintage e-kit is Crafty Secrets and I love all the vintage images, paper and tickets and it goes so well with the pink and red theme.

Be Mine

Hello friends!  Aren't these images the cutest?  Sandy, the owner of Crafty Secrets is offering this unbelieveable e-kit for only 5.00!  Look at everything that comes in the kit.

WHAT A DEAL, HUH?  All of the images and papers are so sweet!
I made a card and a votive holder and plan to make more...once you get started, it's hard to stop :)
My printer was getting low on red ink, so these turned out to be more of a hot pink, but I love it :)
