A Little Jingle?

Hello friends!  I love the "Little Darlings" line by Graphic 45...seemed perfect to make this vintage type stocking that could be hung on a tree or used as a gift card holder.  I've used Spellbinder's Classic Inverted Scallop Die to make a cut in the stocking.  I've added some gold glitter and gold lace and some flowers.  Pearls by Zva Creative.
Have you started on any Christmas projects?  I always need to get an early start because there's so much I want to accomplish!  LOL!  I have a couple projects that are started but they need to dry...with a love for mixed media, it's always a process :)  Be sure to let me know what you've been working on!

What’s In My Future?

According to the Fortune Teller, I'll be having a little Tropical Island getaway!  Wouldn't that be nice?  Temperatures here in Iowa have been pretty chilly and Autumn is in full swing.  The leaves are falling from the trees and the plants are resting until Spring.
For my "Fortune Teller" Globe, I've used Card Decor Set #7, Vintage Gold Piccolo Enamel and Vintage Black Piccolo Enamel.  The card decor sets are perfect for off the page projects.  The Clear ball is a Clear Christmas Ornament and can be purchased at many Craft Stores.  I've used acetate for the inside and adhered a "Fortune" to the front.  The bottom base is a tuna can that has been heat embossed with Vintage Gold.  The decorative cover was an antique shoppe find.  Place a small battery operated teal light in the can and it lights the glass ball!

I used some fiber fill in a pair of vintage gloves and glued them to the ball.
This is my last post for Hobby Baby and it's been lots of fun and an opportunity to work with some amazing products.  Hope you get a chance to make your "fortunes" come true :)

Thanks Mae for the fun opportunity!

Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge 50

Hello friends!  There’s a fun challenge over at Cheery Lynn Designs.  It’s challenge #50 and the theme is “Corner Adorners”!  Sounds like fun, huh?
I’ve used a diecut layer on the inside and Cheery Lynn Designs A192 Witch Hunt Die.  I’ve adorned the corners with a corner rounder and some black ink.  The adorable image is by Reminisce. Pearls by Zva Creative.  The Morning Mist Cardstock is Worldwin.  The rosette is a Sizzix die and the pretty Rosette paper is Quick Quotes, Halloween 400.
Hope you get a chance to join in the fun!
