How Do You Like Your Easter Eggs?

I like mine all decorated in Soft Spring colors just in time for Easter!  Happy Good Friday, friends! I'd like to share a super simple idea, just in time for Easter.  If you have kids in your life, this is a perfect craft for them as well as you :)Start with either ceramic eggs that can be purchased at a craft store or make some hard boiled eggs and decorate them.  I have both kinds on hand and decided to use the ceramic eggs so I can use them from year to year.Gather some of your favorite ribbon, tulle, flowers, lace and  Quick Dry Adhesive.I like mine all decorated in Soft Spring colors just in time for Easter!  

The little pillars can be purchased at a craft store in the cake decorating department.

The ribbons I've used are Swiss Dots Grosgrain Pink and the aqua floral print that's in the March Club Assortment.

These are a perfect way to add some Spring decor to you home.

 

Quick Quotes Grid Challenge

Hello friends!  Are you up for a fun challenge?  The Challenge for Quick Quotes is to use a grid.  Grid challenge is to use a grid pattern formed by pattern paper blocks or strips on any project, card, layout or altered.
I decided to make a Gate Fold Mini Album and have used a grid on the top corners.  I’ve used the “OH SO” Color Vellum Quotes and cut it into pieces to add the the album.  Cardstock is Summer Samba and One Fine Day.





Powder Puff Chalking Ink:  Blue Hawaiian, Mango Mai Tai, Lemonade and Baja Blue.  The chipboard butterfly is Bag 0’ Chips.    Rosette die is Tim Holtz and the ribbons are Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Trinket Pin is Maya Road.  450 Quick Dry Adhesive is Helmar.

My Sweetest Friend, Amy Jo

Hello friends!  I received the BEST box of goodies in the mail from my dear friend, Amy Jo!  She had so many wonderful goodies inside this box including clock gears (just my style), vintage laces and trims (just my style), Vintage postcards (just my style), vintage bunny tags (just my style), metal tins, a wooden frame, wooden shapes and blocks, a metal easel, keys, a beautiful necklace, a wooden house frame and so much more!  It's just like Amy Jo took me shopping and had me pick out some favorite things.  I love everything and THANK her so much!
The beauty in blogging is making lasting friendships like I've made with Amy Jo.  We hope to meet each other in person one of these days.  I'd love that because I'd like to give her a big ole hug :)  She is an amazingly talented artist and I do hope you'll take some time to visit her.  Her blog is Art From The Heart and you'll see just how talented she is!  Love you, Amy Jo!

Doll House Bedroom Set

Hello friends!  Have you seen the new collection, "Little Darlings", by Graphic 45?  As soon as I saw the sneak peeks of this line, I knew it would become a favorite.  I actually drove for 6 hours in snow and ice to get my little hands on this!  I had no idea of the weather forecast when I took off for Archivers in Des Moines, IA...but I have it now and I made sure I bought plenty to last me for awhile.  LOL!
It was well worth the trip and I've made several projects already.  I've used Really Reasonable Ribbon, Beatrice White Crocheted Lace for the trim on the bed.

A Vintage Spring

Hello friends!  Hop on over to the Glue Arts blog where we're celebrating Spring!  Kristen and I are sharing some home decor pieces.  Mine is a star pillow, all dressed up in vintage.  I've added some Graphic 45 Butterflies from "The Olde Curiosity Shoppe" collection.  I used some un-traditional Spring colors for my project so I can keep it out year around.

Exquisite Shrine Necklace

Hello friends!  I sure am glad I ordered more of these Shrines from Retro Cafe Art.  They are made by Coffee Break Designs and I think I may be addicted to creating with these little wonders!  LOL!  The beautiful woman image is Hampton Art and it's one of my all time favorites!  I've heat embossed the image with Black Embossing Powder and the Shrine with Silver Embossing Powder by WOW! Embossing Powders.  The metal "Together Forever" is making memories.

Glue Arts Teams Up With Tsukineko and Curiousity Vintage Shrine with G45

Hello friends!  I have a couple projects to share today.  The first is an Artful Kit made using Graphic 45, "Little Darlings".  This is posted on the Glue Arts blog today and I'd love to have you visit and see all the fine details :)  The case is a vintage projector case and it works well to hold a lot of embellishments such as buttons, ribbons, trims and glitter.  The ink around the edges is Tangelo Memento Dye ink by Tsukineko.

Now for the second project...It a Curiousity Vintage Shrine.  I bought these shrines through Stampington and Company and they are also available through Retro Cafe Art.  I did hop over to Retro Cafe Art and order some more because I'm loving them!  LOL!

I've used Graphic 45, Olde Curiousity Shoppe papers and WOW! Gold Rich Pale Embossing Powder.  The little charm at the bottom is 7 Gypsies.  The shrines are made by Coffee Break Designs.
