Heartfelt Creations: A Keepsake Box

One of our friends had us for supper last week and I saw he had several of these clam shell boxes.  My chops started to water as I saw all the possibilities!

Designer:  Jan Hennings Keepsake Box (A recycled clam shell box) Heartfelt Creations products used:  HCPC 3401 Bella Rose Scroll PreCut Set, HCD 701 Posy Patch Die, HCD 703 Daisy Patch Die, HCD 712 Bella Rose Die Other products used: Parisian Accent Labels S5-034 and Labels 10 Die (Spellbinder's), Cardstock, sticker and Dew Drops (Robin's Nest), Creative Scraps (Crafty Secrets), lace, burlap, sewing machine, Zip Dry Glue, U-Cut It Foam (Glue Arts), Brown Antique Polish (Plaid) Instructions: 1.)  Start by using a recycled clam shell box. 2.) Paint the entire box using Antiquing Polish.  Let dry. 3.)  Using Posy Patch and daisy Patch Dies, cut flowers.  Curl petals under and one one flower curl the petals up. 4.)  Layer flowers with U-Cut It foam. 5.)  Cut the Bella Rose flourish using light green cardstock. 6.)  Stamp Bella Rose Scroll on light colored cardstock.  Color the roses with a light pink marker. 7.)  Using Labels 10, diecut the vintage image. 8.)  Sew a strip of crocheted lace onto burlap and fray the edges of the burlap.  Adhere to the bottom of the box. 9.)  Cut (2) 10" x 7.50" and (2) 1.75" x 7.50" and (1) 9.75 x 7" pieces of patterned paper.  Adhere to top and sides of box. 10.)  Cut 2 Parisian Accent Labels and adhere to the side of the box. 11.)  Arrange the scroll, flourish and vintage image on top of the box. Adhere. 12.)  Hot glue the flowers in place. 13.)  Using U-Cut-It Foam, adhere the "True Love" sticker.  14.)  Cut light colored cardstock and adhere to the inside. 15.)  Mist the inside with Glimmer Mist. I have no idea what clam shell boxes are.. Will google them after I comment here but it does look gorgeous.. Would you call it an altered project?

Beautiful project Jan! I have a thing for boxes as well. Not sure what a clam shell box is but it was perfect for altering.
