I started with 2 pieces of 7"x 9" canvas. Leaving the top open, sew the sides and bottom. Tea stain the bag and lay it on a towel.
Using a paint brush, brush the cinnamon in.
I bought a red dog collar with bells at the dollar store. For an aged look, soak the collar in salt water for several days.
Hot glue a 2"x7" piece of weathered wood to the top of the canvas bag.
Add vintage images and a small coin envelope wrapped in Cherry Baker's Twine.
Hot glue the metal sleigh in place. Add some mini Christmas ornaments.

What a fantastic idea! Valerie
How very pretty, Jan! I really love how you aged the canvas. Never would have thought of using cinnamon. And how clever to use that dog collar for the handle. Gorgeous collection of vintage goodies, too. :)
