Altered Monster Energy Drink Can: Vintage Style Challenge

Hello friends :)  You know me, if an object sits still long enough, I will alter it!  Our boy's like Monster Energy Drinks and I asked them to keep a couple of their cans.  After looking at them, I decided to start with a coat of Gesso. The butterfly is by WOW and is called  Build-a-Butterfly.  I've stamped on the can with WOW Brocade Stamp Set 4, and then heat embossed with Earthtone Nutmeg (Suzy West Collection).  The chipboard dress form is Basically Bare.  Lace is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.  Patterned Paper is Simple Stories.

While snooping around and hopping to blogs, I spotted this challenge and decided to give it a whirl.
Berry71bleu has this fun challenge through January.  Look at this awesome Prize!

Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop: Using Up Ribbon Spools

RRRBlogHop
Hello friends!  This hop officially starts at 7:30 EST.   You should be arriving from Gloria’s blog.   If you get lost along the way, just hop over to Reasonable Ribbon.   Hope you’re in the mood to do some hopping and see some beautiful projects.  The Really Reasonable Ribbon Design Team has been busy working with the “December Ribbon Club Assortment:  Winter Whites”.  For my Spool project, I used an empty cardboard ribbon spool and a vintage wooden thread spool.  I’ve used several Winter Whites to complete my spool.

The image and music paper are Kaisercraft and the sweet little polka dot kraft is paper bag that I cut a strip from to use on the base of the wooden spool.  These sweet paper bags come in a variety of patterns and are available at Really Reasonable Ribbon.  This one is Middy Bitty Bag Kraft Polka Dot.  So, save those ribbon spools and make a beautiful Home Décor piece!  Your next stop will be Emily!

All About Fairies: Canvas Book

Hello friends!  I’ve been super busy working on CHA projects. So far, I have 13 projects done and I love ‘em all..LOL!  It’s always so fun to share my projects at CHA and get such sweet comments.  When CHA (Craft and Hobby Association) is over, I’ll have plenty to show you.  This canvas book will be making it’s way to CHA and will be displayed in the Basically Bare Booth.(I can share this one because all these products have been previously released)  Don’t you look forward to all the new paper lines, embellishments and new companies?  This is made up of Basically Bare hearts, leaves and buttons.  Pink Paislee Butterfly Collection papers, Kaisercraft Dusty Pink  flowers and lots of other goodies tucked inside.

And posting today on the Glue Arts Blog is an Acrylic Wedding Album. Glue Arts holds it all together with their Perma Tac!
I made this album using Clear Scraps acrylic scalloped tags and I cut  an acrylic castle using Clear Scraps acrylic sheet and Accucut Castle Die.  GEE!  A lot of recent wedding projects and we don't have any weddings this summer.  LOL!  All the paper and dies on this album are Crate Paper.

A Little Gift Box

I used Kaisercraft on this little gift box…I love this collection!  The crocheted trim on the lid is vintage and I picked it up at an antique shoppe.  I used Spellbinder’s Blossom 2 die to make my dimensional  flower.
