Scrap & Stamp Arts Magazine

Hello friends!  I was so excited to see some happy mail in the mailbox yesterday.  Guess what was in the large white envelope?  Three complimentary copies of Scrap & Stamp Arts Magazine, September 2012 issue.  I wondered why they'd sent so many and upon inspecting the inner pages, I see I have a four page spread!  WOO-HOO! Pages 28, 29, 30 and 31 have three different Altered Projector Cases.  One of the cases is altered using Pink Paislee Daily Junque, the second is altered using October Afternoon and the last is altered using the new Graphic 45 Little Darlings Line.

In other good news, my friend, Creatology sent me the sweetest mini album she made using the Bind-It All that she won a couple weeks ago.  There was also a beautiful pearl bracelet.  My daughter is happy to show you here :)
Thank you so much my sweet friend :)

Amazing Mold Putty Teams Up With Paperclay

Hello friends!  Mold Putty has teamed up with Paperclay and the designers have been busy working their magicSmile  I decided to make an Envelope Album (7 Gypsies).  I’ve added chipboard, mists, glams, buttons and a clear knob that was molded and cast with Clear Resin.  The entire surface of the album was covered with paperclay and then rubbed just enough to expose part of the chipboard flourishes underneath.  The beautiful image is Pink Paislee (Garden Collection)  I’ll show you the steps so you can make your own!

Keepsake Box

Hello friends!  Hope you’re staying warm and snug Smile  Here in Iowa, it’s been chilly and the high today is 38 degrees.  I know I’ll be begging for 38 degrees in a few months!  I got this 5”x5” wooden box on sale for $5.00, it had a trim piece that was falling off, so being me, I tore it off and started fresh!  The antique door plate and knob were finds at an antique store.  I happened to find two complete sets so I’ll have an extra.  The beautiful papers are Pink Paislee, Butterfly Garden Collection.  I used my hot glue gun (Glue Arts) to attach the knob and door plate.

If You Believe In Fairies, Clap Your Hands!

Hello friends!  Do you believe?  I have pictures that will prove that Fairies are indeed, real Smile  Isn’t she the cutest little fairy ever?  Her name in “Myka” and she id my best friends Grand-daughter.  Myka’s mom was so good to give me her family files of their photo’s and I’ve been busy creating with some of the beautiful pictures.  The papers are “Butterfly Collection” by Pink Paislee.  Flowers are Prima. I’ve used two 8”x10” flat canvases and strips of canvas for strap hinges.

Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations: Love You Bunches Acrylic Album

Hello friends!  Another Wednesday with Heartfelt Creations.  The design team has some gorgeous projects for you this week, so hop on over to the blog and check it out.  I decided to make an Acrylic Album and use up some of the Soiree line from Pink Paislee.  There’s some information on the blog today about a DESIGN TEAM CALL.  Seriously, can a gal work with more beautiful stamps and dies?

I spotted the colorful necklace (I used at the bottom) at the Dollar Store and knew it would match this super and bright paper.

Heartfelt Creations products Used:
3412 Botanical Floral Basket PreCut Set, HCD 708 Decorative Window Scene, HCD 710 Decorative Oval Window,
HCD 701 Posy Patch Die.
Other products:
Acrylic Album and Owires (Zutter), Soiree paper and embellishments (Pink Paislee), Acrylic Heart (Basically Bare)
chipboard frame (Tattered Angels), Glue Gun (Glue Arts), Crop-a-dile (We R Memory Keepers), metal glue, Jewelry (Dollar Store). Gems (Recollections) Ribbon (May Arts), Blossom 2 Die (Spellbinder's)
Start with an acrylic album.  Die cut three Decorative window and three oval windows. Cut two flowers using Blossom 2.  Cut one flower using Posy Patch Die.  Cover the acrylic with Patterned paper and layer diecuts on top of the patterned paper.  On the back of page 2, center the window die and hot glue two Blossom 2 flowers and one posy patch flower.  Add leaf ribbon under the flowers.  Add a gem to the center of the flowers.  For the cover, Cut the widow scene die and glue the four pieces in the center back in place.  Stamp "Love you bunches" in the center.  Place an acrylic heart over the stamped image.  Place a chipboard frame over the acrylic heart.  Add charms, jewelry and a gem border around the heart.  Adhere with metal glue.  Using Crop-a-dile, punch two holes at the top left and two holes at the bottom left side of the album.

House of Three: Soiree Altered Art

Pink Paislee has the cutest line out!  I love the bright and fun colors of this line.  The embellishments are adorable with crystals, wooden banners and so much more.  I got a great deal on the wooden frame with crystal knobs…a whopping $3.00 at Hobby Lobby!  I love a good deal Smile  It's all held together with Glue Arts Melt Stcks and Perma Tac Adhesive!
